At Searcys, we are seeking a skilled Logistics Porter to join our team at 116 Pall Mall, a stunning Georgian venue in the heart of London.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and has a keen eye for detail.

As a Logistics Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all goods received are properly counted and inspected to match specifications as per delivery notes.

You will also be responsible for setting up all furniture required for events in coordination with the event sheets and the requirements of the clients.

Additionally, you will be responsible for moving equipment safely and carefully to protect the fabric of the building and the furniture on site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To ensure that all areas of the back of house are maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
  • To liaise with all couriers, clients and delivery drivers with efficiency, politeness and coherence.
  • To immediately report any discrepancies to deliveries to your line manager.
  • To carry out any other administration work required with regards to monthly equipment stock takes as directed by your Line Manager.
  • To maintain all storages areas organised and clean at all times.
  • To comply with all legal requirements with particular reference to (but not exclusively) fire regulations, security, licence requirements and any Local Authority or Client stipulations.
  • To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to as described in the Searcy Health & Safety Policy.
  • To ensure all areas are regularly checked for maintenance and repairs and that any problem is reported to a member of the management team.
