About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Associate to join our team at Cygnet Churchill, an inpatient mental health hospital for men in south London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care planning and risk assessments with service users on admission and at appropriate intervals under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Ensure all interventions are documented clearly and comprehensively in clinical notes, care plans, risk assessments, and other relevant documents under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Undertake medication administration duties in line with the NMC code, Cygnet Health Care policies, and own professional sphere of competence.
  • Contribute to the prevention and management of abusive, aggressive, and challenging behavior in line with least restrictive practice.

Requirements

An experienced Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register or educated to a minimum level 5 Foundation degree level specific to nursing associate practice, you'll have...

  • Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
  • Able to recognise own limitations in the context of the nursing associate role
  • Knowledge of when to seek advice and refer to a registered health or care professional
  • Ability to participate in reflective practice and clinical supervision activities
