Governance Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Governance Officer to join our Governance and Company Secretarial team in Worcester. As a key member of the team, you will provide governance and company secretarial services to the Group on behalf of the Company Secretary.
Key Responsibilities- Working within regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Attending Board meetings and taking minutes, as well as reviewing and house-styling board reports
- Liaising with key stakeholders, including Directors, Board Members, and report authors
- Maintaining accurate documentation and managing ongoing and one-off projects
- Liaising with colleagues across the business to provide a high level of customer service
- Recent experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of governance and company secretarial practices
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads
- Very good attention to detail and the ability to work calmly under pressure
- Experience of minute preparation and/or minute-taking, and managing paperwork for meetings
- Previous experience of project management and supervising staff would be advantageous
- Proficient user of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
