Sales Office Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Office Manager to join our team at a 50-bed, 4-star hotel in the heart of the South Downs area. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and reservations office, managing a team of coordinators, and driving revenue growth through proactive sales and marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales office management, with experience in Opera and a proven track record of success in reactive events and room sales. You will be a natural leader, with excellent people management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire your team to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the sales and reservations office, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations
- Manage a team of coordinators, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets
- Develop and implement proactive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
Requirements:
- Strong sales office management experience, preferably in a hotel or events sector
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proven track record of success in reactive events and room sales
- Experience with Opera and other sales software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
