Senior Associate Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Associate or Associate Director to join our Cardiff office, working as part of the largest independent consulting engineering firm of its kind. Cardiff is a thriving and dynamic creative capital city with a rich cultural heritage and ambitious future in terms of growth and becoming a carbon-neutral city in the next decade.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects
  • Provide a lead role in an integrated project design team with other construction professionals
  • Take responsibility for solid technical delivery in your work either alone or as part of a team
  • Work with the team leader to help monitor fee expenditure, resources, and work delivered

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Chartered status or working towards it
  • Excellent technical knowledge in your primary discipline and a thorough understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design
  • Modern technical delivery methods, particularly in relation to BIM
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
