Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Hydrock. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for a range of sectors, including commercial buildings, education establishments, and data centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure projects
  • Communicate with clients, design professionals, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Use Revit and 3D BIM modelling software to create detailed designs
  • Conduct lighting calculations using Dialux/Relux and cable calculations using Amtech
  • Participate in design team and client meetings, and attend site visits as required
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree and/or Masters qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or building services engineering
  • Strong IT competencies, problem-solving skills, and ability to learn new software packages
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
  • Previous industry-related work experience is desirable but not essential
