Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cardiff. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills and work on a variety of complex projects.

About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for buildings in various sectors, including commercial, education, retail, and more. You will work closely with clients, design professionals, and contractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for buildings using Revit and 3D BIM modelling software
  • Coordinate with other professional disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Perform lighting calculations using Dialux/Relux and cable calculations using Amtech
  • Utilize regulations, standards, and guidance documents to produce electrical system designs
  • Participate in design team and client meetings, and attend site visits
Requirements
  • Relevant degree and/or Masters qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or building services engineering
  • Strong IT competencies, problem-solving skills, and ability to learn new software packages
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
  • Previous industry-related work experience is not essential, but desirable
