Job Title: Project Support Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Support Manager to join our Transformation Unit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing planning and administrative support to the operational and project management functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in supporting projects from inception to completion. They will be able to work closely with senior project support managers to ensure that schemes are effectively managed and delivered.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing planning and administrative support to the operational and project management functions
  • Project managing small minor works capital schemes from inception to completion
  • Supporting the production of project documentation, issues logs, risk registers, and project control reports
  • Using Microsoft project, AutoCAD, PLANET, BIM, and other computer software to develop and produce project programmes and plans
  • Working with operational services to propose best practice changes to service delivery
  • Supporting the production of estates and planning documentation, including business cases, option appraisals, post project evaluation, and reports
  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of all aspects of communication activity for schemes
  • Distilling, determining, and preparing complex option appraisals
  • Ensuring that project/programme meetings, groups, workshops, and days are planned, prepared, serviced, and formally minuted

The successful candidate will have:

  • Able to present relevant information in a concise and easily readable format
  • Demonstrable proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Project
