Role Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our trading team as a retail store ambassador on Sundays. As a keyholder, you will be responsible for overseeing the running of the shop, supporting a talented team of volunteers, and contributing to achieving sales and fundraising targets.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the shop on Sundays, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets, working collaboratively to drive business growth.
  • Review and process donated goods and new stock, utilizing commercial awareness to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Develop creative ideas to generate new income, working closely with the Shop Manager to implement innovative strategies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, making sure customers feel welcome and valued in our stores.
  • Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of what drives great customer service.
  • Adaptability in changing situations, including ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
  • Able to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, as part of a rotating rota.
