About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Error Correction Researcher to join our team at Riverlane in Cambridge, UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing the world's first Quantum Error Correction (QEC) stack.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement novel methods for Quantum Error Correction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to read and discuss academic papers, identifying critical results that can be scaled up for industrial application.
Requirements:
  • MSc in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality theoretical or technical work, such as through a Master's thesis, internship, or publication.
  • Possess passion for translating academic expertise into an applied industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and/or C++ programming languages.
  • Experience with Quantum Error Correction, evidenced by internships or publications.
  • Familiarity with running experiments on quantum computers.
