Job Overview:

XAD Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist to join our team. As an HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the company. You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences
  • Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on health, safety, and environmental best practices
  • Maintain records of all incidents, accidents, and safety-related activities
  • Liaise with relevant authorities and agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and permits
  • Monitor and report on the company's HSE performance, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to HSE

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an HSE Officer or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH)
