Airfreight Import/Export Coordinator

Our client, a reputable logistics company, is seeking an experienced Airfreight Import/Export Clerk to join its team in Birmingham. As an Airfreight Clerk, you will be responsible for managing airfreight shipments from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage airfreight shipments, including import and export operations
- Coordinate with carriers to ensure smooth transportation
- Prepare and process relevant airfreight documents
- Handle customs entries and comply with regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service and support
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Minimum 6 months of airfreight experience
- Import and export experience
- Quoting and following up on quotations
- Opening and closing files
- Producing airfreight documents
- Customs Entries
- Liaising with carriers
- Providing first-class customer service
- IATA certified
- Attention to detail
- Strong team player
