Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Bridgwater & Taunton College. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the college's legal and statutory compliance obligations, including electrical safety and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the college's electrical safety and maintenance program, including three- and five-year fixed wiring inspection schedules, HV servicing, PAT testing, and lightning protection.
  • Manage the daily workload of the team via the college's job reporting system.
  • Engage with contractors and suppliers on behalf of the college.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and compliance, with experience in a similar role. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
