Electrical Supervisor Job Description

G4S Facilities Management is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis based in Bridgwater.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee a team of Electrical Engineers on a mobile basis across various sites within the Hinkley Point C contract.
  • Ensure timely completion of PPM and reactive maintenance activities in line with contract SLAs and statutory compliance.
  • Carry out set-to-works, permit-to-works, and supervise reactive, PPM, and minor project tasks.
  • Quality check and sign off on minor, new installations, and EICRs.
  • Update PAT registers and assist in formulating quotes for upgrading existing systems and equipment.
  • Liaise with specialist sub-contractors and set-to-works to enable servicing.
  • Operate planned maintenance procedures for assets effectively and safely within their range of qualifications, training, and experience.
  • Deal effectively and safely with breakdowns and damage to assets within their range of qualifications, training, and experience.
  • Write up reports and technical procedures for Building Maintenance Activities.
  • Assist in the training and development of other maintenance/technical staff involved in site maintenance activities.
  • Maintain inspection and repairs to various types of heating, water, ventilation, electrical, mechanical, and security systems.
  • Diagnose faults on all electrical support systems and rectify where necessary within levels of competence.
  • Participate in emergency call-out arrangements in respect of Integrated Facilities Management Systems on maintained sites.
Requirements:
  • Experience of building and facilities maintenance.
  • C&G 2360/2330 NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Full, clean driving license.
  • C&G 2396 Level 4 Design and Verification of Electrical Installations or equivalent.
