Taylor Higson | Print, Packaging, POS, Signage & Mailing Solutions Recruitment Specialists is currently seeking a High-Quality Label Production Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will have experience in the labels industry and flexographic printing. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating flexographic printing presses, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operate flexographic printing presses according to procedures and job specifications
  • Ensure daily productivity targets are met and schedules are achieved
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform general maintenance tasks
  • Produce high-quality labels meeting ISO 9001, BRC, and PS9000 standards
  • Work with Shift Supervisor to improve quality, processes, and production efficiencies
  • Advise Shift Supervisor on tooling performance issues and replacement needs
  • Maintain and set AVT inspection equipment for optimal effectiveness
  • Optimize job setup for minimal ink and material usage
  • Record and adjust ink mixes as approved by Shift Supervisor
  • Verify colour accuracy using X-rite spectrophotometer, matching GMK
