About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our team on a long-term basis, starting in November 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about shaping young minds and has a background in Drama. The successful candidate will work alongside a 'Good' Secondary School in Norwich, developing engaging lessons and fostering positive relationships with students.
Job Description:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the needs of KS3-KS5 students.
- Maintain a well-organized classroom environment and cultivate a passion for learning among students.
- Assess and report student progress accurately, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support additional classroom staff to ensure a supportive educational ethos.
Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
- Recent mainstream school-based experience as an English and Drama Teacher.
- A relevant English-related degree is desirable.
- Experience with the KS3-KS5 curriculum (from year 7 up to 6th form GCSE) and Drama 0.8 Curriculum.
