Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Patient Experience Team at a time of exciting change and development. As part of this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an equality, diversity and inclusion work plan that improves the patient experience.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate qualification or equivalent level of knowledge and experience in project management, as well as experience of managing EDI projects and proven analytical and report writing skills.

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 37 hours 30 minutes of work per week. We offer flexible working arrangements and encourage applicants to discuss their needs with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and delivering projects aimed at improving the experience of people with protected characteristics;
  • Identifying key areas for improvement and working collaboratively with local communities;
  • Evaluating projects and making suggestions for change or future work streams;
  • Providing training and support for staff on equality and diversity issues;
  • Working with Human Resources EDI colleagues and supporting staff networks;
  • Supporting staff in analysing equality in relation to new policy, service development and improvement.
