Mercedes Benz of Shrewsbury is seeking a reliable and skilled casual driver to join their dynamic Service team. As a casual driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering cars and parts to retail and corporate customers, prioritizing your time and workload efficiently to consistently exceed customer expectations.
As a Service Driver at Lookers, you will play a vital role in supporting our Aftersales department. You will drive safely and in accordance with current road and traffic legislation, ensuring our vehicles are clean and in a roadworthy condition, both inside and out. You will also be responsible for notifying your line manager of any defects, damage, or incidents that occur on the road.
Responsibilities
- Deliver cars and parts to retail and corporate customers
- Visit other Lookers dealerships in the area
- Ensure our vehicles are kept in a clean and roadworthy condition
- Drive in accordance with current road and traffic legislation
- Provide an exceptional level of service to all customers
- Maintain the highest levels of professionalism
Qualifications
We require all candidates to have held their full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years, as you will be driving some high roofed/long wheelbase vehicles. You will also be reliable, have excellent communication skills, be flexible, and approach your role with a positive and professional attitude.
Having experience working in a similar role would be advantageous, along with a real passion for providing a great customer service experience.
