About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Design Director to join our team at Electric Square. As a key member of our design leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the creative vision and direction of our AAA console games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Implement the studio design strategy and champion the highest quality of design across the studio.
  • Team Management: Support the Design Director in evaluating candidates and evaluations, and effectively manage the time of any team or department.
  • Communication: Be an expert written and verbal communicator, managing client expectations and making a compelling argument to go against client desires or wishes.
  • Business Development: Support the Studio Directors with business development and corporate strategy, and be involved in assessing RFP requirements.
Requirements
  • Five shipped titles, with a minimum two as lead.
  • Extensive console character action experience.
  • At least eight years working in the games industry.
  • AAA experience is a requirement.
  • Experience on console/PC platforms required.
  • Experience working in a co-dev environment desirable.
  • Experience working in Unreal Engine 5 required.
