AAT/ACCA Trainee Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team in County Armagh. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in preparing monthly management accounts, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and managing cashflow.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to the management team.
- Manage and maintain the costing system on Sage, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial information.
- Handle sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring accurate and efficient financial transactions.
- Monitor and implement financial controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile inter-company accounts and work with auditors at year-end.
- Support the Finance Manager and General Manager with accounts and reports, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Collate, post, and reconcile month-end stocks, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
- Manage VAT submissions, Intrastat, and other government returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process payroll and support the accounts team with ad hoc duties as required.
- A Chartered Accountant qualification and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Sage Line 200 (desirable).
- Strong organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Confidence to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
