Accounting Trainee

The successful candidate will report to and work directly with the Finance Manager, assisting with and completing various duties, including:
- Monthly preparation of Management Accounts
- Weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Auditing supplier payments and resolving pricing issues with the buying team
- Liaising with Suppliers
- Monthly bank reconciliations in various currencies
- Intercompany Account Reconciliations
- Credit Cards postings and reconciliations
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements to accounts
- Preparing monthly KPIs
- Meeting HMRC reporting deadlines
Requirements
- Third Level Finance/Business Qualification (Desirable)
- Studying (Or planning to) ACCA or CIMA Qualification (Study Support will be provided)
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
- Good IT skills with previous experience of Excel, Word, and Outlook (Experience with Excel Desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibit excellent organisational skills and attention to detail along with a proven ability to meet deadlines
