Job Description

Court of Protection Solicitor required in Gloucestershire

Motus Legal Recruitment is proud to present an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Court of Protection solicitor to join a successful and well-established law firm in the South West.

This is an excellent chance to work with a progressive and dynamic team that provides high-quality support and services to clients with mental incapacity.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a full range of matters protecting and managing the affairs of individuals who lack capacity, including:

  • Providing deputyship support in the Court of Protection
  • Managing EPAs and LPAs for a number of individuals
  • Preparing and submitting non-contentious CoP applications
  • Drafting statutory wills and codicils
  • Providing advice on care fee planning
  • Offering guidance on applicable DWP benefits

We are seeking a commercially focused and passionate individual who is committed to providing exceptional client service and support. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years PQE experience in Court of Protection law and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
