As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring robust and high-performing IT systems are in place, maintaining and upgrading them as needed. You will also be accountable for internal responsibility for company's Finance, HR, and business systems.

Your scope of work will include identifying, proposing, prioritizing, and implementing improvement opportunities, evaluating IT risks, and developing remediation plans. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring systems are fit for purpose and providing comprehensive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-line support.

You will also assist in managing IT contracts and third-party relationships, oversee system architecture, integrations, and regulatory requirements. Furthermore, you will evaluate opportunities for process improvement and new technology, create and supervise system test plans, and input into the IT budget.

A solid technical background is essential, with experience working with/for a startup/scale-up organization. You should have knowledge of ITIL framework, creation of IT system documentation, policies, and SOP, system validation testing, and Power BI reporting.

You will be a problem solver, able to take initiative and respond to rapidly changing priorities. Having the ability to influence across various functions and levels, and being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies and be familiar with the latest trends and innovations in the field. You should be able to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role is a 6-12 month contract with flexibility over start and finish times. You will be working hybridly, with at least 2/3 days per week onsite in Cambridge.
