Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is partnering with a leading mechanical engineering firm to find a skilled Warehouse Supervisor in Chesterfield.
This role involves working in the supply of goods to the steel industry, with the company having recently moved into new and larger premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management and be looking for a challenging role that offers opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the organization and efficiency of the warehouse
- Conducting regular stock counts and audits
- Booking in goods and resolving stock queries
- Using CRM systems to manage inventory and track shipments
- Coordinating the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar environment
- Experience with goods out, including packing and labeling
- Knowledge of stock control systems and resolving queries
- Electric Counterbalance FLT license (B1) and a UK driving license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits:
- Negotiable salary between £28k-£32k depending on experience
- 25 days paid holiday + 8 paid statutory holidays
