Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Summary
Culina Group seeks an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our warehouse operations and site facilities. As Shift Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing site operational performance by providing leadership, colleague engagement, and close management of customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Health & Safety is 'No. 1 on the agenda' aligned with site and business goals and guidelines.
- Manage all warehouse operational activities, including recruiting, training, and retaining staff.
- Develop and lead a culture of continuous improvement to enhance operational performance and people development.
- Closely manage financial targets to ensure improved financial performance through effective cost management.
- Engage effectively with customers in a full Partnership model approach.
- Manage and maintain site facilities and visiting contractors.
- Recruit and select agency and permanent operatives.
- Ensure compliance with key internal and external audits.
Requirements
- A demonstrable track record in managing high-volume, high-service-driven warehouse operations.
- Ability to think and work both strategically and operationally.
- Experience of CIP, ideally including formal programs such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Lean.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to converse at all levels.
- Previous knowledge and experience in a retail type environment would be an advantage.
