Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Children's Social Work Team Manager to join our team in Cheshire. This role will involve working with children who are leaving care and have unaccompanied asylum seeker (UASC) status.

About the Role: As a Children's Social Work Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of social workers who work with children who are leaving care. You will need to have experience of working with vulnerable children and young people, as well as expertise in managing a team.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of social workers
  • Managing cases involving children who are leaving care and have UASC status
  • Providing support and guidance to social workers
  • Working closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable children and young people
  • Expertise in managing a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
