Job Title: Band 5 Medical Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Clinical Engineering Team at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust as a Band 5 Medical Engineer. We are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to support the Clinical Engineering service in providing technical and engineering support across the Trust.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of registered devices in the Clinical Engineering database
  • Support with technical, electrical, mechanical, integration, and computer systems aligned with medical devices
  • Coordinate maintenance of contracted medical devices as per service requirements
  • Work collaboratively as a Team in Clinical Engineering and across all interdependent areas
  • Working off-site will be required as part of the service

Person Specification:
  • Degree-level qualification in Engineering (medical or biomedical engineering)
  • Knowledge of medical devices and ability to identify medical devices
  • Registration as Clinical Technologist (desirable)
