About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Specialist to join our dynamic team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, supporting, and monitoring elements of projects or work packages, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, support, and facilitate project elements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Draft work packages, plans, and reports to ensure project delivery on schedule and to specification.
  • Collaborate with Programme/Informatics staff and stakeholders to deliver projects within the Informatics portfolio.
  • Provide management, direction, and support to Project Support Officers and programme staff to ensure project delivery.
  • Represent Informatics by actively participating in Health Board/National Teams and groups.
  • Manage staff within area of responsibility, providing line management for delegated staff, including appraisals, sickness management, recruitment, and selection.

Requirements

  • Education to degree level or equivalent level of work experience and knowledge.
  • ILM Management Level 3 or equivalent qualification/level of work experience and knowledge. Willingness to complete within 2 years if not held.
  • Evidence of Continual Professional Development.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, organize/prioritize own and team workload, and communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, fluent, and persuasive manner.
