About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Audiologist to join our friendly team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive audiological services to both adult and paediatric patients, covering audiology and ENT clinics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine diagnostic pure tone audiometry, including masking
  • Perform routine diagnostic acoustic admittance measurements
  • Select, fit, and program digital and analogue hearing aids, in line with MHAS and departmental protocols
  • Take aural impressions and fit ear moulds
  • Assess the benefit derived from hearing aids, using subjective and objective measures
  • Use clinical judgement to refer to appropriate medical and local support services as necessary
  • Record accurate results of testing in hospital and departmental records
  • Provide support to Clinical Educator, for training of BSc & MSc students from local universities

Requirements

  • BSc Healthcare Science (Audiology) or equivalent
  • Registered (or working towards registration) with the RCCP/AHCS
  • Experience of working with both adults and children
