About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Audiologist to join our friendly team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive audiological services to both adult and paediatric patients, covering audiology and ENT clinics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing routine diagnostic pure tone audiometry, including masking
  • Conducting routine diagnostic acoustic admittance measurements
  • Selecting, fitting, and programming digital and analogue hearing aids, in line with MHAS and departmental protocols
  • Taking aural impressions and fitting ear moulds
  • Assessing the benefit derived from hearing aids, using subjective and objective measures
  • Using clinical judgement to refer patients to appropriate medical and local support services as necessary
  • Recording accurate results of testing in hospital and departmental records
  • Providing support to Clinical Educator, for training of BSc & MSc students from local universities

Requirements

  • BSc Healthcare Science (Audiology) or equivalent
  • Registered (or working towards registration) with the RCCP/AHCS
  • Experience of working with both adults and children
