About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Surfacing Operative to join our team. As a key member of our surfacing squads, you will be responsible for executing tasks as directed by the Foreperson, maintaining plant and equipment safety, and mentoring less experienced operatives. Your success in this role will be driven by your ability to work effectively in a team environment, take pride in delivering high-quality results, and adhere to company rules and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute tasks as directed by the Foreperson, ensuring adherence to instructions and safety protocols.
- Maintain, operate, and ensure the safety of all plant and equipment.
- Keep personal protective equipment (PPE) in excellent condition.
- Mentor and support less experienced operatives.
- Maintain professional working practices and comply with company and safety procedures.
- Report all accidents, incidents, and any concerns affecting quality and safety.

Requirements
- CSCS card and driving license preferred but not essential; comprehensive industry training provided.
- Keen interest in the construction materials industry and heavy mobile plant machinery operations.
- Desire to learn and grow within the industry, with a focus on safety and quality.
