About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team at Rodericks Dental Partners. As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist in a variety of NHS and private dental procedures, ensuring patient care and experience are at their best.
  • Work in a supportive environment, building great teams who trust each other, work professionally, and take ownership for the practice's success.
  • Follow practice health and safety and infection control procedures, keeping clinical areas and equipment clean, tidy, and disinfected.
  • Accurately complete patient clinical records and complete daily, weekly, and monthly logs and checks.

Training and Development

We will support Trainee Nurses who have already signed up to or are working towards a Dental Nursing Qualification. For those who have not yet begun a course, we can assist in finding a course provider.

The National Diploma in Dental Nursing (level 3) Qualification will include on-the-job training, online learning, face-to-face training sessions, completion of a record of experience, and written and practical exams.

Requirements

  • Dedicated to starting a career in Dental Nursing.
  • Able to commit to a 12-month+ training programme.
  • Comfortable working in a clinical environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with practice colleagues and patients.
  • Excellent organisation skills to keep appointments on time.
  • Compassionate.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • IT skills.
  • Team player.
