About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team at Rodericks Dental Partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Dentists in various NHS and Private dental procedures, ensuring exceptional patient care and experience.
  • Work in a supportive environment, building great teams who trust each other and take ownership of the practice's success.
  • Follow practice health and safety and infection control procedures, maintaining a clean and tidy clinical area.
  • Accurately complete patient clinical records and daily, weekly, and monthly logs and checks.

Training and Development

We will support Trainee Nurses who have already signed up to or are working towards a Dental Nursing Qualification. For those who have not yet begun a course, we can assist in finding a course provider.

The National Diploma in Dental Nursing (level 3) Qualification will include on-the-job training, online learning, face-to-face training sessions, completion of a record of experience, and written and practical exams.

Requirements

  • Dedicated to starting a career in Dental Nursing.
  • Able to commit to a 12-month+ training programme.
  • Comfortable working in a clinical environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Excellent organisation skills to keep appointments on time.
  • Compassionate.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • IT skills.
  • Team player.
