About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team at Rodericks Dental Partners. As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist in a variety of NHS and private dental procedures, ensuring the best possible patient experience.
  • Provide chairside support, ensuring the correct equipment and materials are available.
  • Support a wide range of patients, providing excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
  • Follow practice health and safety and infection control procedures.
  • Keep clinical areas and equipment clean, tidy, and disinfected.
  • Accurately complete patient clinical records and daily, weekly, and monthly logs.

Training and Development

We will support you in achieving your National Diploma in Dental Nursing (Level 3) qualification, which includes on-the-job training, online learning, face-to-face training sessions, and completion of a record of experience.

Requirements

  • Dedicated to starting a career in dental nursing.
  • Able to commit to a 12-month+ training program.
  • Comfortable working in a clinical environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
  • Excellent organization skills to keep appointments on time.
  • Compassionate and empathetic towards patients.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • IT skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
