We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Support Specialist to join our team at Penwortham Grange & Lodge, a modern care home in Penwortham specializing in care for older people.

Estimated Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum

About the Role

As a key member of our kitchen team, you will work closely with the Home Manager and care staff to create nutritious and balanced meals that cater to the individual needs of our residents. Your responsibilities will include supervising a dedicated team, managing food orders, stock levels, and maintaining vital equipment. You will also ensure the kitchen is fit for purpose, following strict food safety guidelines and completing daily meals on time.

To be successful in this role, you will need to plan, prepare, and cook a variety of meals that are appealing and nutritious, catering to individual preferences and dietary requirements. You must comply with all statutory and legal requirements, such as HACCP, Health & Safety, and Infection Prevention and Control policies. Additionally, you will implement and maintain cleaning schedules that meet the requirements of our Food Safety Manual.
