Supporting Young Minds in Education

NextGen Teachers is seeking a highly skilled Teaching Assistant to support our Early Years team in Leeds. This full-time role offers a salary of £85,000 per annum, commencing in January 2025.

About the Job:
  • The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to prepare educational resources and plan engaging lessons that promote student growth.
  • As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for monitoring progress, providing guidance, and maintaining open communication with class teachers.
  • You will also lead teacher-led activities to facilitate reading, phonics, and math interventions for individual or small groups of students.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is necessary.
  • A background in EYFS, Nursery, or KS1 environments is preferred.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS certificate is required; if not already obtained, you must be willing to do so.
  • Hold a Teaching Assistant Qualification.
