Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team on a temporary maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to broaden their HR experience in a supportive and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR administration, recruitment, and training, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 33 days holiday entitlement, enhanced sick pay scheme, personal pension scheme, and family-friendly policies.
Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for providing full-range HR office administration, recruitment, induction, and training for new employees and volunteers. You will also provide first-line HR support to our managers and staff, handle HR casework, assist in training events, and assessment days.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
- Experience within a Human Resources/Recruitment environment
- Good understanding of best practice relating to Human Resources
- Ability to work to competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Recent knowledge and experience of using databases and ability to interrogate these systems for information
