**Internship Program Overview**

Our Internship program is designed to provide hands-on experience and skills development in your chosen field. Supported by structured training and mentorship, the program is based on Arcadis' core values, giving you both technical training and support to help you develop personally and professionally.

**Role Description**

As a Geo-Environmental Intern, you will be part of the multi-award-winning Site Evaluation and Restoration team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting site-based ground investigations to determine the nature and quality of ground conditions for geological/geotechnical assessment, soil contamination, and groundwater quality.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to inform design decisions or determine the need for environmental restoration.
  • Working as part of project teams to undertake site work, including soil & groundwater sampling and site supervision, as well as desk-based research and report writing.

**Requirements**

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Be working towards a degree in a relevant subject, such as Geology, Environmental Geoscience, Environmental Science, Geophysics, Chemistry, or Environmental Consultancy.
  • Demonstrate typical Arcadian skills, including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking, and being a Team Player.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • Be willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible, we embrace virtual working).
