Job Overview
The Head of Community Management will be responsible for developing, leading, and implementing Carlisle Support Services' ESG strategy, ensuring the company's operations align with environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and strong governance principles. This role involves driving initiatives across multiple contracts to deliver social value, enhance community engagement, promote responsible business practices, and introduce and drive policy, guidance, and instruction where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and lead Carlisle Support Services' Environment, Social & Governance strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Integrate Environment, Social & Governance initiatives into company strategy, risk management, and long-term sustainability planning.
  • Develop and implement policies and frameworks to manage Environment, Social & Governance risks and capture opportunities across various regions and contracts.
  • Develop a robust governance framework to manage Environment, Social & Governance risks and opportunities across the business.
  • Monitor emerging Environment, Social & Governance risks and trends, assessing their potential impact on the business.
  • Lead the implementation of risk mitigation strategies to address Environment, Social & Governance-related risks.
  • Oversee Environment, Social & Governance reporting and disclosures, ensuring transparency and accuracy in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide monthly Environment, Social & Governance reports to the HSQE Director and advise on areas of improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure all Environment, Social & Governance policies are effectively implemented and maintained across all contracts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all Environment, Social & Governance-related matters, including interactions with regulators and industry associations.

Requirements:
  • Experience in Environment, Social & Governance, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, or a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of Environment, Social & Governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills to translate complex Environment, Social & Governance issues into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change within diverse business environments.
  • Passionate about the delivery of an integrated Environment, Social & Governance business strategy, keen to drive purposeful culture with values aligned with the business strategy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business, Sustainability, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred but not essential.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum
