Diagnostic Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostics Field Service Technician to join our team at TRS Consulting. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical laboratory diagnostics systems across various pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments.
About the Role:
- The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic equipment, including service, installation, breakdown, repair, and calibration.
- This role requires strong technical knowledge and experience in a customer-facing field service engineering capacity within high-value capital equipment environments.
- We welcome applications from engineers with a broad range of backgrounds, including laboratory device, medical device, pharmaceutical device, ex-forces engineers (medical & dental, weapons systems, radar) and other electronic or electro-mechanical fields.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of ONC level qualification in engineering, electronics, or a science-based subject.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with experience in diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
