LGBTQ+ Talent Show Producer

Pride in London is a dynamic and inclusive organization that celebrates the diversity of the LGBT community.
We are seeking an exceptional Executive Producer to lead the creative direction and production of our flagship event, Pride's Got Talent (PGT). As PGT relaunches in 2025, you will be responsible for reimagining and elevating the show, ensuring it remains a premier platform for emerging LGBT talent in Britain.
About the RoleAs Executive Producer, you will oversee all aspects of production, from pre-production planning to post-production evaluation. This includes managing the competition structure, online submissions, live heats, semi-finals, and the grand final. You will also lead the talent recruitment process, manage relationships with judges, hosts, and guest performers, and build and lead a team of volunteer production professionals.
You will develop and manage the production budget, liaise with venues, technical teams, and external production partners, collaborate with our marketing team on promotional strategies, and ensure smooth running of live events, making real-time decisions during productions.

Your Skills and Qualifications- Proven experience as a producer in television, live events, or talent competitions
- Strong understanding of all aspects of production, including sound, lighting, and staging
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Creative vision coupled with practical production knowledge
- Demonstrated commitment to LGBT causes and understanding of the community's diverse needs
- Experience in budget management
Preferred qualifications include experience producing LGBT-focused content or events, a network of contacts within the LGBT entertainment scene, and previous involvement with Pride events or similar programs.
