Executive Role:

We are seeking an experienced Executive to join our team at ITV, responsible for leading the creation of engaging and informative content for our daytime talk show, Loose Women.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current affairs, showbiz, human interest, and hard news stories, with the ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive ratings growth and engage the audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content strategies to drive ratings growth and engage the audience.
  • Lead a team of producers and editors, ensuring the smooth production of the show.
  • Source and pitch story ideas that meet the show's tone and format.
  • Collaborate with PRs and talent to secure high-profile guests and interviews.
  • Ensure compliance with OFCOM regulations and ITV's editorial guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive, with at least two producer credits.
  • Journalistic background and experience working in a live news environment.
  • Prior experience in live daytime television is desirable.
  • Effective management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and teams.
