About the Role

The Rufford Foundation is seeking a skilled Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer to play a crucial role in supporting the foundation's grantees in achieving their conservation goals. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the CEO, Grants Manager, and Grants Officer to ensure that project updates and final evaluation reports are thoroughly reviewed and recorded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze project updates and final evaluation reports to identify areas of improvement and success.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, Grants Manager, and Grants Officer to ensure that project changes are recorded and documented.
  • Develop and implement a monitoring and evaluation framework to assess the impact of conservation projects.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to grantees in developing their project proposals and reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience in reviewing and drafting donor reports.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of biodiversity conservation and its challenges.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
