Job Summary

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Duty Facilities Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Estates and Facilities department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide dedicated project support in delivering the soft FM function, working closely with Estates and Facilities managers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct on-going audits for linen, site management, and CCTV access as required.
  • Provide on-going/ad-hoc ID access control sessions as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from separate NHS sites within The Royal Free Group.
  • Support departmental stock auditing and ordering as required.
  • Attend meetings with stakeholders and internal teams as needed.
  • Support the Deputy Facilities Manager in the day-to-day monitoring of the Barnet Hospital site.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the programme effectively and efficiently, promoting the use of data, information, knowledge, and technology to improve and inform departmental work plans.
  • Provide team support to various work streams, offering dedicated resources, monitoring implementation, and evaluating work streams through high-quality reporting.
  • Coordinate with various groups, identifying interdependencies across work streams.
  • Communicate complex, sensitive information to a range of stakeholders.
  • Support waste management aligned to the waste management HTM 07-01.
  • Work autonomously, escalating issues as necessary and forward-planning to avoid delays.
  • Analyze and interpret a range of information, issues, options, and situations across a broad range of work streams.
  • Comment on procedures to identify areas for improvement and introduce local processes to support projects running smoothly.
  • Support the delivery of milestones through proactive monitoring and highlighting gaps or risks.
