Automotive Maintenance Specialist

As a Mobile Plant Maintenance team member, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, carrying out repairs, and ensuring the efficient operation of our fleet of mobile plants and equipment.
Main Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including daily checks and scheduled servicing
- Carry out repairs and diagnostic work on HGVs, trailers, mobile cranes, forklifts, and specialized heavy industrial vehicles used in the steelmaking industry
- Offer mechanical and basic electrical maintenance services, including fault-finding on mobile plant equipment
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanic with a strong understanding of safe working procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements include:
- BTEC, NVQ Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of experience in vehicle maintenance
- A full, valid UK driving license is essential
- Methodical approach to work, excellent fault-finding abilities, strong communication skills, and attention to detail
