We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual to provide companionship and respite support for a 17-year-old nonverbal female wheelchair user living in Bath.

The ideal candidate will have patience, good communication skills, and be responsible, confident, sociable, and reliable. The role involves providing assistance during school holidays, with potential for increased hours over time.

The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and references. They will be paid £11.44 per hour through the PAYE scheme, with 5.6 weeks of holiday per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part-time). The start date is summer holidays 2024.

Key responsibilities include providing companionship to allow family members some respite, while maintaining confidentiality and respecting the individual's privacy. Essential qualities required include being responsible, reliable, and trustworthy, with excellent timekeeping and good communication skills.
