Weekend Companion/support for Client with Dementia

Companions Who Care are a small friendly local service providing companionship and practical support for people in their own homes.

We are looking for a mature, kind-hearted person with experience of caring for those living with dementia, a positive practical nature, who is available to offer initially just 2 hours per week on Saturday or Sunday to visit a client living in Marksbury near Bath. No assistance with personal care is required.

Carer experience is not essential although may be advantageous. A positive, friendly character, and willingness to support our client to enhance his day are the most important attributes for this role.

You will need a full driving license & your own clean, reliable car in which you are willing to take clients out and about. Also, you must own a reliable smart phone.
