Job Title: Children's Intervention Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Children's Intervention Coordinator. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of families, providing intervention support to promote stability and positive outcomes for children. Key responsibilities include:

  • Caseload Management: Hold and manage a caseload of families, prioritising work in line with policies and procedures.
  • Intervention Support: Provide intervention support to families, facilitating positive outcomes for children.
  • Supervision and Reporting: Engage in regular supervision sessions, ensuring significant issues are communicated promptly.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

  • Qualifications: NVQ3 or equivalent in working with children and families.
  • Experience: Proven experience in supporting children, young people, and families, preferably in a statutory or voluntary sector environment.
  • Knowledge: A strong understanding of current legislation regarding resettlement, housing, social care, and safeguarding.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills.
