Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Seasonal Sales Assistant to join our team at The Entertainer, working in partnership with Tesco Chester Broughton Extra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchandising and handling deliveries to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked toy department
  • Replenishing stock, maintaining cleanliness, and good organization of the sales floor
  • Performing start-of-shift bay checks to ensure pricing, stock gaps, and general standards are met
  • Maintaining good communication with colleagues and line managers
  • Acknowledging customers, making conversation, and encouraging sales using your knowledge of toys and games

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday, with a minimum of 12 hours per week
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of toys and games is an advantage

Contract Details:

  • Contracted weekly hours: 12 hours
  • Shift patterns and days will vary, but will be notified in advance
