We're seeking a vibrant and ambitious individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant/Driver during the Christmas season. As a key member of our store team, you'll play a crucial role in boosting sales and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

The Role

As a Sales Assistant, you'll be an ambassador for the store, supporting the team to deliver a bespoke Christmas shopping experience for every customer. Your mission is to help our customers discover and buy wines, beers, and spirits they'll love this Christmas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive store performance by embracing sales opportunities and exceeding targets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
  • Share your passion for our products with customers.
  • Maintain our store's impeccable appearance.
  • Contribute to operational tasks, including delivering wine to customers, merchandising stock deliveries, and calling valued customers to drive sales opportunities.
  • Ensure we're operating safely by following all internal policies and training.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Excellent time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivated, able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team.
  • A can-do attitude with a knack for solving challenges.
  • Adaptable and resilient to meet the ever-changing demands of our business.
  • Wine, beer, and spirits knowledge is a plus, but a passion for learning is essential.
  • Hold a full UK/EU/EEA driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
